Antidiuretic Hormone
ADH (or vasopressin) is synthesized in the hypothalamus and stored in posterior pituitary. It is released when the body is dehydrated and causes the kidneys to conserve water by increasing water reabsorption in the collecting ducts of the kidney nephrons, labeled diagram.
